As a small child, I taped this episode onto a blank video cassette and watched it over and over and over.
Data is frigging awesome.
It’s clear that after countless episodes of everyone wearing the same uniform, the costume department went a bit off the deep end. A script with a scene in the holodeck would probably be met with rejoicing and weeping. Shouts of “Let’s give Data a moustache!” would echo throughout the studio, and Brent Spiner would feel a chill run up his spine.
