(Loaded)The Velvet’s final album tends to be less proselytized about than their 60’s output, sometimes even lumped in with the fraudulent Squeeze as ‘not really a Velvet Underground record’. This is unfortunate, for as poppy as it is, it happens to contain some of the best songs former-vampire Lou Reed ever did write.
